School Overview
The University of Washington Bothell, often referred to as "UW Bothell", is a public, 4-year, research university that offers an extensive selection of undergraduate and graduate degree programs for aspiring students. UV Bothell is located in Bothell, Washington, in northeast King County. The university is one of three campuses in the University of Washington system (the flagship campus, University of Washington Seattle, and the third, University of Washington-Tacoma). UW Bothell was founded in 1990, in conjunction with the University of Washington Tacoma. UW Bothell is the largest branch campus in Washington and currently shares a campus with Cascadia Community College.
UW Bothell offers day and evening classes in business, nursing, education, interdisciplinary studies, arts and sciences, and computer for full and part-time students. The UW Bothell campus is located northwest of the State Route 522 and Interstate 405 junction.
Academics
The University of Washington Bothell offers over 30 bachelor and master degree programs in Business Administration, Computing and Software Systems, Nursing, Education, Science and Technology, and Interdisciplinary Arts and Sciences.
UW Bothell offers undergraduate programs in American Studies, Applied Consulting, Biology, Business, Business Administration, Community Psychology, Literature, Computing, Environmental Studies, Global Studies, Interdisciplinary Studies, Society and Human Behavior, Nursing (RN to BSN), and Science, Technology and Society.
The university offers the following graduate programs: Leadership MBA (LMBA), Technology MBA (TMBA), M.A. in Cultural Studies, Master of Nursing (MSN), Master of Education, M.F.A. in Creative Writing and Poetics, M.A. in Policy Studies, M.S. in Computer and Software Systems, and Secondary Teacher Certification (M.Ed.). UW Bothell also offers two post-baccalaureate programs: K-8 Teacher Certification and Professional Teacher Certification. (Both the LMBA and TMBA programs are offered at the Eastside Leadership Center in Bellevue, Washington.
